Program description
CareSafe is a two-way text messaging service operated by Bulldog Technology Consultants, Inc. on behalf of participating medical practices. Enrolled patients can text their practice with questions about their care, and receive replies, appointment confirmations, and follow-up messages from their practice.
Messages are reviewed and approved by staff at your medical practice before they are sent to you.
How you opt in
You are enrolled only if you give your mobile number to your medical practice and consent to receive text messages from them. There is no public sign-up form. Consent is not a condition of purchase or of receiving care.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. Messages are sent in response to your own messages and in connection with your care, so volume depends on how often you contact your practice.

How to get help
Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at greg@bulldogtechnologies.com.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive a single confirmation message and then no further messages. To resume, reply START.
Opting out of text messages does not affect your care, and your practice will continue to reach you by other means.
Emergencies
Do not use text messaging for medical emergencies. Text messages are not monitored continuously and may be delayed. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Security
Standard text messaging is not an encrypted or secure channel. Messages may be stored on your mobile device and are handled by your wireless carrier. Consider this before including sensitive information.
Carriers
Supported on most major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Your information is handled as described in the CareSafe Privacy Policy. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties.
